NRM selected to
provide construction and engineering support to ORNL’s HFIR Cold
Source Project. Work consists of erecting concrete pads, duct
banks, piers and conduit supports and lightning protection. A
portion of the work is design/build. Other work consists of
structural engineering, piping analysis and pipe support design.
NRM selected to
provide piping system design for the SNS. Work includes
preparing P&ID drawings and detailed piping drawings for the SNS
Neutron Scattering Scientific Facilities.
NRM wins a Construction Basic Ordering Agreement
to provide Miscellaneous Construction Support to the Oak Ridge
National Laboratory and the Spallation Neutron Source. NRM will
furnish all materials, labor, equipment and facilities necessary to
complete assigned construction tasks.
NRM has been
selected to provide Project Management Support services
to the Facilities Development Division (FDD) of the Oak Ridge
National Laboratory (ORNL). The FDD is responsible for design,
project and construction management of new facilities and facility
modifications at the ORNL.
NRM receives a one year
extension to continue lead engineering design support for Spallation
Neutron Sources Single Crystal Diffractometer (SNS-SCD) instrument
The SNS-SCD will be a novel,
state-of-the-art single crystal diffractometer with the capability
of resolving large structures, including proteins.
